Lyuda Finds Hope And Healing

Vinnitsa, UKRAINE - Lyuda grew up with five siblings and loved her mother and father dearly. When she was only 8, however, Lyuda's mother passed away. Neighbors all said that her mother died from alcoholism, but the girl refused to believe that, and used to make up stories that her mother died from a serious illness. To make matters worse, Lyuda then lost her father at the age of 11. All the siblings were separated and sent to different orphanages. Lyuda missed her family and felt lost without her parents.

There is nothing that is quite as disturbing to the soul as when male and female children are trafficked for sexual exploitation. Thankfully, there are many ministries and organizations working worldwide to fight this horrific tsunami of degradation.

Armenian Training Centers - They Work!

Armenia is a tiny country but boasts deep Christian roots; in fact Armenia was the first nation in the world to adopt Christianity (301 AD).  Yet it is also a country still struggling its way out of poverty and hardship, after the devastating 1988 earthquake, which claimed over 30,000 lives.  With a poor economy and a high cost of living, 35% of families are living below the poverty line and struggle to provide a future for their children.  Learning to speak English or learning to use a computer are considered a luxury and yet these are the very skills that would grant them better opportuni
